Lester Brown at UU Riverside

On Tuesday, Feb 5, 2008 the Universalist Unitarian Church of Riverside and the University of California, Riverside are hosting a talk by Lester Brown, Founder of Earth Policy Institute. The event will be held at the First Congregational Church located at the corner of Mission Inn Ave and Lemon Street in downtown Riverside at 7:30 p.m. Mr. Brown will be speaking on the major issues of sustainability raised in his just released book, Plan B 3.0: Mobilizing To Save Civilization. His talk will be followed by time for some audience questions and an opportunity to purchase his book at the book-signing table.

There will be no admission charge and seating is on a first come basis. Doors will open at 6:45 p.m. Donations to cover costs and support other such public service programs will be appreciated. We expect a large crowd.
